Dec. 9th, 2018 03:06 pmThis is a both a contact/plotting post and a permissions post for Akira, regarding his Killing Intent ability.
Killing Intent, also translated as Aura (and a variety of things depending on the scanlator) is Akira's ability to use his fighting spirit to attack his opponents psychologically. If he's incredibly angry or has a strong desire to kill an opponent, Akira let all of that out and intimidate an opponent Depending on your character's willpower/fighting ability/whatever other mitigating factors there are, the effects can range from flinching and hesitation, to feeling as if you've been cut into pieces, despite being just fine.

This ability should only come up with Akira is fighting your character or feels the need to intimidate them, but I will always, always ask permission first and allow you, the player, to decide how strongly it affects your character, if at all. So please drop me a line here and tell me if you’re interested or completely disinterested!

| RESIDENCE. ??? POSSESSIONS. ??? -His clothing, a traditional kimono, hakama, sandals and socks -two chisakatana, which are basically just shorter katanas. -a white bandana with red tiger stripes that he keeps wrapped around the hilt of his left sword WEAPONS. ??? Two chisakatana, which he sheaths at his back like so. He’s an excellent fighter, though his strength and health are such that he isn’t going to be able to fight anyone who isn’t a normal human or significantly weaker than him. He’ll be mostly defending himself or avoiding conflict when it comes to anyone stronger than him. He will still push himself to train further though. He can also create ice, though the ability is limited at the moment to generating a few shards of ice and resisting the cold a little. EXPLORATION. ??? GOALS. Aside from leaving, recovering some of the strength he's lost in canon. |

| TRIGGERS. He has major issues with people hurting those he cares about in front of him, to the point that Akira will completely flip out. He also doesn't do well in situations where he's powerless to help or protect his loved ones. He tends to go into violent rage fits in these situations, lashing out at everything around him with no care for his own safety. MEDICAL INFO. He's put out his own eyes, so he's blind, but otherwise his other senses are heightened enough to make up for it. He's in fair health, but his body has suffered a lot of injuries due to living a hard life. They not visible under his kimono, but the boy's body is covered in scars. It’s pulled his physical stamina and strength down to the level of an average human, which is a significant loss when you come from a shounen fighting manga. MENTAL INFO. A mess of emotions and a tendency to be very obsessive and vindictive when slighted, but otherwise he’s a nice guy. FOURTH-WALLING. I’d rather not, though I am okay with him hearing about the fates of various historical figures from his canon. PHYSICAL CONTACT. Yes, though Akira might not act well to people just touching him out of the blue unless he knows them very well. ROMANCE/SEXUAL RELATIONS. I am open to anything that develops, though it will take a while, because he's clueless about that stuff and pretty uptight. INJURE/KILL. Ask me first, but I am generally up for anything that might happen to him as part of a plot. As long as it’s interesting, I’m always willing to hear people out on this. DEVICE HACKING. Go for it. He's very clueless about modern technology. Just give me a heads up. THREADJACKING. As long as the other person agrees, yes ANYTHING ELSE. ??? |
